As a cornerstone of its community, a church must be a welcoming place for its congregation to gather, worship, and meet. Part of creating such an environment is making sure that your church is regularly cleaned and kept up with. However, with so many church events and activities always going on, it can be difficult to find a good time to shut sections down for regular cleaning.
A good rule of thumb is to schedule a church cleaning for when your church will be least occupied. Many churches have regular services on Sundays, with some having Saturday School as well, so scheduling your church cleaning during another day of the week—ideally between Monday and Friday—is often the best bet for most churches. Early mornings, before office hours begin, or afternoons, after any morning activities conclude, are usually perfect for routine tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance.
For deeper, more intensive church cleaning, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or maintaining outdoor spaces, you may want to plan around quieter periods of the year or special church closures, like the week after Christmas or during the summer break. Having larger windows of time to work with lets us get a lot of deep cleaning done more efficiently, without having to worry about disrupting church services or activities.
It can also help to schedule cleanings after major events like weddings, baptisms, or other large gatherings—these events are often more than a little messy, and you may want professional help to get your church back to its full glory.
Ultimately, each church is different and will therefore have different scheduling needs for its cleaning. We are happy to work with your individual schedule to find a time that works best for all parties involved to get your church cleaned and ready for its next event.
